GET GOOD JOBS (WSQ COURSE)

How do you land yourself on a good job? Is it just luck or can you manage its outcome? This workshop will get you the necessary skills to source for compatible jobs, apply for them, prepare for advanced job interviews and demonstrate appropriate social etiquette when attending interviews. The workshop will be conducted with a good blend of lecture, interaction, resume writing and interviews practices. The intended audience: Participants who may be in job transition or looking for a new career or enhanced job opportunities.

Programme Content

Course Purpose To equip the learners with the knowledge and skills to be able to conduct self-assessment of own competencies to determine career goals, and develop a plan to achieve these career goals. The participant will be able to source for compatible jobs, apply for them, prepare for advanced job interviews and demonstrate appropriate social etiquette when attending interviews.

Course Deliveries

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to: Conduct self-assessment of personal competencies acquired through learning and experience Set personal career goals taking into account industry demand and personal competencies Review requirements to achieve personal career goals and develop plan to achieve career goals Source for jobs which are compatible with personal competencies and career goals Select jobs that best match personal competencies and career goals, establish job requirements and apply for jobs Apply advanced skills to prepare for and attend job interviews Maintain standards for personal image and hygiene when attending job interview Demonstrate social etiquette skills to build relations with interviewers

2.5 Days 20 Hours

Prerequistes

Eligibility: Minimum 16 years old (Course Fee Support is only applicable to trainees aged 21 years and above) Primary PSLE Must be able to speak, read and write in English and demonstrate competency at Level 3 for Employability Skills (ES) WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy

Note:

 

Self-Sponsored

  1. Singaporean & PR aged 21 and above = 70% funding.

  2. Singaporeans only (not PR) aged 40 and above = 90% funding.

  3. Singaporeans aged 35-39 with WSS letter = 70% funding.

Company-Sponsored (till end of 2020)

  1. Singaporeans & PRs aged 21 years and above are allowed 90% funding.

  2. Absentee Payroll applies for company sponsored up to $10/training hour. Please use Absentee Payroll calculator provided by SSG to calculate the absentee payroll for your employee.

  2. Your application does not qualify for a seat for the course. You will receive a phone call from our friendly consultant who will assist you in the application.

  3. The Training Provider (ATO) reserves the rights to postpone or cancel the course if the course does not meet the minimum learners required.
